Lorenzo: Patron of Bad Jokes

He may have: but if he didn't, he should have. The saints always had good humour. They were, as Chesterton noted, full of levity. Satan, however, fell by the force of gravity.

A similar point is made by Hans Urs von Balthasar toward the end of his The Office of Peter and the Structure of the Church--that the saints, amongst other notes, could be noted by their humour.
